Dr. Bundt examines the changes in the relationship between politics, economics and culture in the turn of the twentieth to the twenty-first century, when liberal social welfare models are undermined by advances in technology and international capital, resulting in an increasing contact among different culture industries throughout the world. What are the proper film policies to promote local and national filmmaking in such a context?
Prof. Roger Bundt holds a Ph.D in Communications and a double appointment with UNISINOS (São Leopoldo) and UNIRITTER (Porto Alegre), Brazil.
Currently, he is a Visiting Professor in a Brazilian Cinema Course at the University of Miami.
